Your lips play a major role in determining your facial expression. If you feel your lips are too thin, or too full, or shaped wrong, we can help.
This involves taking tissue out of your lip to bring it down to the thickness you want. This is also a daycare procedure, done under local anesthesia.
This can be done in one of two ways:
Injecting Hyaluronic acid fillers – this is a temporary measure that may need to be repeated after 6-12 months.
Fat transfer – fat from another part of your body is inserted into the lip. This is potentially more permanent.
Both are day care procedures performed under local anesthesia. Recovery is usually quick and any bruising or swelling will subside in 7-10 days.
If you already have a full upper lip but want to change its shape, then this procedure is for you.
There are two types of Lip Lift:
Corner Lip Lift – if your lips tend to droop giving you a ‘sad’ or ‘sulky’ look, the corners of the mouth will be injected with a hyaluronic acid filler to elevate them.
Upper Lip Lift – if your upper lip is too long, this procedure will elevate its upper border so as to make for a more proportionate look.
