Liposuction – Most commonly performed procedure for this condition. Liposuction will remove all the fatty tissue over your chest muscles, thereby sculpting the chest into looking more manly.
Gland Excision – Many times , a small 3 cm cut has to be made at the dark lower areola region to remove excess gland tissue which sometimes cannot be removed even by liposuction.
Liposuction is often combines with Gland Excision to make sure recurrence is avoided.
You will be wearing a Vest/ Compression garment for 4-6 weeks – will allow the chest skin to retract and get back to shape. Few patients with excess skin with excess breast tissue may also need small skin removal to avoid skin sagging at a later date.
Hence each patient is different, and Dr. Karishma will customize a treatment plan for your needs.
